£1M Awarded to Newlands/Auldburn Ward for Community Improvements

We’re thrilled to share that the Newlands/Auldburn Ward has been awarded £1 million from the Neighbourhood Infrastructure Improvement Fund! This funding is dedicated to making meaningful improvements across the ward’s five Community Council areas, including Newlands/Auldhouse Community Council, which has been allocated £159,231.

How Was the Funding Distributed?

Each Community Council area received a baseline allocation of £100,000, with the remaining £500,000 distributed based on population size and SIMD (Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation) data points. This ensures a fair and needs-based approach to funding allocation.
